The Danish Motor Insurers' Bureau (DFIM) handles claims arising out of accidents where the offending vehicle is unknown (hit-and-run).
Please note: Material damage can only be compensated if the victim is also compensated for personal injury.

Have you been hit by an uninsured vehicle?
DFIM handles claims arising out of accidents where the offending vehicle is uninsured.
If your own vehicle is comprehensively insured (casco-insured), please contact your own insurance company.
If your vehicle is not comprehensively insured, please print, fill in and send this accident report (in Danish) to us by regular post. Once we have received your accident report, we will contact you. Please enclose all relevant documents, e.g. the medical records from the accident date.
Have you been hit by an insured Danish vehicle?
If you are not a resident in Denmark and you have been hit by a Danish vehicle and you are in possesion of the insurance details, you can find the claims representative of the Danish insurance company in your own country by clicking here.
If you are not in possesion of the insurance details, but you have the registration number of the Danish vehicle, please contact DFIM for the insurance details.
